It’s common to want to look tan for your senior portraits. That’s okay, but there are some pitfalls that you should be aware of and try to avoid: - Sunburned and peeling skin is VERY difficult, if not impossible to correct.
- Pronounced tan lines are also difficult, and often costly to correct.
- You want to look sun-kissed, not like leather.
- Skin cancer anyone?
There are some easy and safer ways to look tan for your portraits: - Sunless tanner is now available not only in the drug store, but airbrush and spray booths can often give a more natural look.
- You can give the illusion of being tanner by wearing light colors (white, off white, pastel, etc.)
